Amish farms are found generally in the eastern half of the county, and over the years that region has given rise to a variety of Amish-related attractions, as well as numerous unrelated destinations, ranging from theaters to outlet malls.

Downtown Lancaster

Over the last decade, downtown Lancaster, PA has undergone something of a cultural rebirth. From traditional art galleries to quirky shops; nightclubs to fine dining; rooftop bars to historic tours – Lancaster is a city of contrasts. A centrally located convention center and a growing craft beer scene both draw visitors to downtown Lancaster.

Elizabethtown / Mount Joy / Manheim

Lancaster County, PA’s northwest region is home to several small towns, each with its own unique appeal. It’s also home to Spooky Nook sports, a massive complex dedicated to hosting sports and other events. Visitors to “The Nook” might enjoy visiting historic sites, craft breweries and wineries in the neighboring towns of Elizabethtown, Mount Joy and Manheim.

Ephrata

Ephrata, PA in northeast Lancaster County is home to the Ephrata Cloister, a historic site that was once home to a unique monastic settlement known for its art, music and calligraphy. Lititz

Repeatedly voted the coolest small town in America, Lititz, PA boasts an array of restaurants, shops and craft breweries in an attractive, historic downtown neighborhood. In a nod to its traditional side, Lititz, PA is home to a truly massive Fourth of July celebration, hosted every year since 1811. And in a nod to the future, it’s the perhaps unlikely home of Rock Lititz, one of the world’s leading producers of large-scale concerts and similar events.
