Garrett came to the Organization for the Responsible Care of Animals after it received a call from a caring person who said Garrett had been abandoned by his owners when they moved away. He was then left to fend for himself.
It has been very sad to see him somewhat confused as to why he was left alone. He is hoping for a loving family to give him a forever home where he receives the love he deserves.
Once Garrett feels safe, he will love to sit on your lap, which seems to be one of his favorite things to do.
Garrett is 1 to 2 years old. He has his shots and walks well on a leash, but still has some work to do with housebreaking skills. He is learning well in the short time he has been with ORCA.
If you would like to visit with Garrett, call the animal alert hotline for ORCA at 717-397-8922 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. The office is located at 401 E. Orange St.
