USA stands for the National Anthem before they take on team Canada at Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim Tuesday July 26, 2016.

The U.S. women's field hockey team has fallen to No. 15 in the latest International Hockey Federation (FIH) world rankings.

The FIH changed its ranking system at the beginning of the year, now updating the list daily after Pro League contests instead of waiting until after major tournaments.

Team USA entered the Pro League season at No. 14, but has struggled through the first two months of competition. The Americans lost their first five games, most recently dropping both of their matches in New Zealand by a score of 3-1. Sitting in last place in the league, the U.S. has been outscored 27-5 so far this season.

Canada, which had been ranked 15th, moves up to No. 14.

The Netherlands retained the top spot, followed by Argentina. Las Leonas jumped up one spot after a strong start, including a 2-0 victory over the Netherlands last month.

Australia moves down to No.3 with Germany and England rounding out the top five. China, Team USA's next Pro League opponent, stayed at No. 10.

In men's rankings, the Team USA remains at No. 24 without having played since the Pan American Games in August.

Belgium sits atop the rankings followed by Australia, the Netherlands, India and Argentina.
