Tim Mazya, who became just the second Millersville University player to make it to the majors when he was called up by the Blue Jays last week, has been sent back to the minors.

Mayza made three appearances with the Blue Jays, all in relief. After two scoreless outings, Mayza gave up a two-run homer to the Chicago Cubs' Javier Baez in Friday's game.

Mayza, who  totaled three innings in the bigs, did not hacve a record. His ERA is 6.00.

Although Mazya his headed back to Triple-A Buffalo, it won't be for long, according to Blue Jays manager John Gibbons.

Gibbons told Patrick Rose of GlobeandMail.com that Mayza will return to the majors "very quickly."
