District 3 Track and Field Championships-Day 1

The New Balance Nationals Outdoor track and field meet is scheduled for Thursday through Sunday at A&T University in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Entries to the national meet, which features competition in the championship, emerging elite, freshman and junior high divisions, include 10 individuals from the Lancaster-Lebanon League and four relay teams.

Following is a list of Lancaster-Lebanon League athletes set to compete and the scheduled times of their events. A full schedule can be found here, with a complete and revised start list available here.

Evan Dorenkamp, Manheim Township — Boys 1-mile run (championship): Sunday, 2:40 p.m.

Brock Gingrich, Cocalico — Boys shot put (emerging elite): Saturday, 11:30 a.m.

Nate Good, Warwick — Boys high jump (championship): Sunday, 11 a.m.

Matt Julian, Penn Manor — Boys pole vault (championship): Sunday, 2:30 p.m.

Dejon Manning, McCaskey — 400-meter hurdles (championship): Sunday, 12:20 p.m.

Ezra Mellinger, Lampeter-Strasburg — Boys long jump (championship): Sunday, 12 p.m.

Tyler Shue, Ephrata — Boys 800-meter run (championship): Sunday, 1:45 p.m.
