Soccer star Lionel Messi tops the list of 100 best-paid athletes earning $127 million in salary and endorsements from June 2018 to June of this year. The annual list of the world's top jocks was released by Forbes Tuesday.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger ($55.5 million) is 12th, while former Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles ($35.8 million) is ranked 36th.
Two Philadelphia Phillies made the top 100. Outfielder Bryce Harper ($44.5 million) is No. 23, while pitcher Jake Arrieta ($28.8 million) is at No. 68.
Mike Trout ($50.6), who was tied at No. 17, is the highest-paid baseball player.
Sixers center Joel Embiid ($32.1 million) ranks 48th.
Tennis great Serena Williams, who made $29.2 million to rank 63rd, is the only women on the list.
And New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley is at No. 93. The former Penn State star earned $25.8 million.
