LNP Design an Ad Contest

Formerly known as the Newspapers in Education, or NIE, the LNP|LancasterOnline Design an Ad contest gives Lancaster County students in kindergarten through 12 grade the opportunity to showcase their writing and artistic talents.

For 2021 Design an Ad entries:

  • Each group of students will be paired with an advertising sponsor
  • Students will create an advertisement that conveys their sponsor’s message to the public
  • One lucky student from each group will have their ad recreated in the newspaper

The LNP Design an Ad contest offers an excellent opportunity for educators to encourage students to:

  • Think independently
  • Be creative
  • Express themselves through words and art
  • Challenge artistic talent
  • Meet academic standards
