Michael Roy Grimm, 1940 – May 19, 2018, died of complications from Parkinson's.
A lifelong resident of Lancaster, Mike (Skip to family & friends), was the son of the late Albert and Hazel Grimm. He graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School in 1959 and retired from the Commonwealth of PA as a special investigator for the Office of the Inspector General.
He was well-known for his exacting talent in the art of Scherenschnitte (German paper cutting). His artwork is owned by collectors locally and around the United States. For a number of years he generously donated his artwork to local organizations to help raise funds, including Hospice of Lancaster, Schreiber Pediatric, Leo's Helping Paws and others.
He was fond of travel. Together with his spouse and life partner, they traveled extensively in the Caribbean and throughout Europe.
Michael is survived by his spouse and life partner of 36 years, Les Fern, two sisters, Pat Brown and Carol Bomberger, wife of Harry Bomberger and their families.
