Jacob P. Cummings, 23, of Millersville, beloved son of Brian and Amanda (Fox) Cummings, lost his battle with depression and passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. He was born in Hampton, VA, and was a 2014 graduate of Penn Manor High School.
In his twenty three years of life, Jacob made an impact on every life he touched. His sense of sarcasm and sense of humor were two of the characteristics that those around him will forever cherish. Jacob was someone with the kindest of hearts and never wanted anything but happiness and joy for those around him. It was always the little things that brought joy into his life. There was nothing more in life that Jacob enjoyed than being surrounded by and sharing laughs with the ones he loved.
He was someone who loved animals, adventure, and had a love for music like no other. In his free time there was nothing more that Jacob loved to do than be outside. There was never a time that Jacob would turn down an offer to go on a hike, go for a bike ride, or even go cliff jumping. For Jacob, every day of life was looked at as an adventure and an opportunity to explore the simple wonders in life.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Macie Cummings, and his brother, Ian Cummings, both of Millersville; his paternal grandmother, Constance Cummings; maternal grandparents, Diane and Enos Fox; Uncles Sean Cummings and Jeremy Fox (Gina); Aunt Dana Pettit (Chad) and cousins, Benjamin, Zachary, Rocco and Chase. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Patrick Cummings.
