Dennis "Denny" Gene Kenaston entered Glory, Wednesday, July 4, 2012, a few short months after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. He was 63 years old.
Denny was born to the late Kenneth and Dorothy Kenaston, April 27, 1949, in Clay Center, KS. In 1973, he married Jackie Martin of Omaha, NE. Three years later, he graduated with honors from Hyles Anderson College. Together, they raised eight children in Lancaster County, PA. After founding and faithfully pastoring Charity Christian Fellowship there for 30 years, he and his wife Jackie recently moved to Berne, IN, where he received his diagnosis. Brother Denny's life was characterized by constant ministry and service for His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His legacy is one of unconditional love and tireless service with no thought of personal recognition.
Denny leaves behind his loving wife Jackie, their 8 children, and 16 grandchildren as well as 3 siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Charity Africa Missions (717-656-4155).
