Angela M. "Angie" Alexander, 46, of Quarryville, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of William C. and Florence E. (Moran) Alexander, of New Providence.
Angie was a 1989 graduate of Solanco High School. Over the years she worked in manufacturing at Bulova Technologies, and then in shipping and receiving as a forklift operator, first at Miller Hartman, and most recently at Dart Container.
Looking forward to football season each year, Angie was an avid Steelers fan, and she followed them religiously. For leisure, Angie enjoyed the outdoors and going to the beach. She found enjoyment in taking her dog to the park to swim. She had a heart for people and loved helping those in need. Angie's family and friends take comfort in knowing she helped other families by being an organ donor, and that part of her is going to live on.
In addition to her mother and father, Angie is survived by her companion, Mark Fluck, of Quarryville; stepbrother, William C. (Karen) Alexander, Jr., of Pequea; nephews, William S. (Mary) Alexander, of Rawlinsville, and Brian (Tiffany) Alexander, of Ocean City, MD; great-nephew and great-niece, Owen and Ella; and her faithful Chocolate Labrador, Kane. She was pre-deceased by a stepsister, Linda M. Alexander, in 1992.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at High View Church of God, 2470 Leaman Road, Ronks, PA 17572, with a time of visitation at the church from 10 – 11 a.m. A time of light refreshments will immediately follow the service. Interment will be private.
The family kindly asks that you do not send flowers, but instead consider doing these three things: 1) Give someone a smile today, Angie always had one for you; 2) Be kind to someone and give encouragement to them; and 3) Tell the ones you love that you love them, and mean it. And, if you wish to give monetary donations, please give to someone that is in need.
