Oregon Village

This is an aerial view of the proposed Oregon Village from the 1300 block of East Oregon Road Monday April 22, 2019.

After nearly three years, two proposals, a previous denial and more than a dozen hearings between them, a decision is forthcoming on Oregon Village, a 76-acre, two-site development proposal in Manheim Township.

Manheim Township Commissioners to decide on Oregon Village proposal tonight

Township commissioners Albert B. Kling, Donna E. DiMeo, David R. Heck, Samuel M. Mecum and Thomas G. O’Brien are expected to vote Monday on whether to grant conditional approval for the proposed mixed-use development spread across two sites on both sides of Route 272 (Oregon Pike).

You can watch a livestream of the hearing below, or on the LNP/LancasterOnline Facebook page.

In play are 554 housing units, a larger Oregon Dairy supermarket, a 120-room hotel, 300-person restaurant, a bank and retail stores, according to the proposal.
