The home along West Walnut Street closed in 2012, but by next summer Presbyterian Senior Living expects to open a 52-apartment complex called LongCrest on the site.

The carriage house, which had been there for more than a century, was shifted to a different part of the property and will be remodeled for use as a community room at a cost of about $470,000, according to Presbyterian.
