Wohlsen Construction has posted an aerial time-lapse video of a carriage house being moved on the former Long Home property in Lancaster city.
The home along West Walnut Street closed in 2012, but by next summer Presbyterian Senior Living expects to open a 52-apartment complex called LongCrest on the site.
The carriage house, which had been there for more than a century, was shifted to a different part of the property and will be remodeled for use as a community room at a cost of about $470,000, according to Presbyterian.
After extensive collaboration during preconstruction, the historic carriage house at Long Home was successfully moved to its new location where it will be renovated & incorporated in the LongCrest project. We are thrilled to have met this challenging aspect for our client. pic.twitter.com/eeZzbsdq0g— Wohlsen Construction (@WohlsenWorks) June 28, 2019
