Vehicles that became stranded in a large sinkhole at Tanger Outlets were removed using a crane early Saturday morning. The vehicles became stranded in the parking lot of Tanger Outlets after a large sinkhole opened around 4:45 p.m Friday.
A worker who was tethered to a tower ladder from Lafayette Fire Company climbed into the sinkhole and connected the cars to the crane.
All vehicles were removed by about 1:15 a.m. Saturday. A fence has been set up closing off the area around the sinkhole.
