Trees down, hail falls: storm damage in Lancaster County from Tuesday's storm [photos]
A storm knocked down a "significant amount of trees" on Park Hill Drive in Penn Township on Tuesday evening and toppled a tractor-trailer, according to Lancaster County-Wide Communications.
On tree fell on a house on Park Hill Drive, and two trees fell onto a trailer in Rapho Township, according to Lancaster County-Wide Communications. A tractor-trailer was also blown onto its side on Old Philadelphia Pike near the border of East Lampeter and Leacock townships, but the driver was uninjured.
The damage came as the National Weather Service in State College issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Lancaster County, warning of ping pong ball-sized hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
