One person died in a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Atglen Borough at Route 41/Gap Newport Pike.
Route 41, between Route 372 and Highland Road, near Octorara middle and high schools, was shut down all morning as state police investigated.

Christiana Fire Company Chief Erik Lofgren said there is a detour, but the road will be shut down for an "extended period" while police investigate.
Police said that a commercial vehicle traveling northbound on Route 41 drove into the southbound lane, crashing with another car, causing both vehicles to hit the guiderail and catching on fire.
The driver of the commercial vehicle was able to get out, but the driver of the other car was trapped and died in the fire, police said.
The name of the victim has not been released yet.
