Northern Lancaster County Regional police are investigating a string of vandalism damages that happened on Friday night in Warwick Township.

Police said that at least 12 properties -- including mailboxes and cars -- were damaged by spray paint and reported on Saturday, June 8.

The vandalism was focused mostly on Canterbury Court, Knightsbridge Way and Royal Drive, police said.

"Parents are urged to engage their children in discussion of these types of senseless acts," police said. "At minimum this awareness may prevent future crimes and perhaps lead to information that will solve this series of events."

Damages are still being totaled and police ask that anyone with information call (717) 664-1180 or (800) 957-2677. Information can also be provided through nlcrpd.org
