Hunny is a beautiful domestic short-hair cat surrendered to Furever Home Adoption Center by her owners. At 6 years of age, she was not very tolerant of the chaos and noise that came along with their newborn baby.

Hunny is affectionate with adults and older children and would do well in a home with another laid-back cat. Her favorite activities are chasing the laser, sitting on laps and taking cat naps high in one of the cat towers, where she also can keep an eye on all the activity below.

Hunny has tested disease-free and is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She will be available for adoption from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Furever Home Adoption Center 5984 Main St., East Petersburg.

Furever Home’s regular hours are 4-7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and noon-5 p.m.Fridays and Saturdays.

An animal rescue shelter where all of the cats live in an open, cage-free environment, Furever Home operates solely on donations and fundraising activities.

From 10-3 p.m. Saturday, July 15, Furever Home will have a Summer Vendor Fair inside the Farm and Home Center on Arcadia Road. Admission is free. Raffles, door prizes, food trucks and a bake sale will be featured, along with 100-plus vendors and crafters.
