Penn Manor’s $99.9 million high school renovation and construction project its well on its way. Much of the old high school has been torn down, and significant progress has been made on the school’s new appearance. The project, construction on which started in 2019, is expected to be complete by December 2022. Among the expected new features is a wing dedicated to science, technology, engineering and math; a 900-seat auditorium; a greenhouse; classroom clusters designed to foster collaboration among classes; and various common areas where students can study and socialize. Top and right, demolition continues on a section of the high school that was originally constructed in 1958. Left, the east wall of West Gym has been torn down.
