The driver of a Jeep that crossed Route 322 and hit a house Sunday suffered a medical condition while driving, according to state police.
They reported that Terry W. Louth, 69, of Narvon, had been driving east in Caernarvon Township about 1:41 p.m. when he suffered the medical condition, "causing the vehicle to accelerate."
He failed to negotiate a right-hand curve and went across the highway into oncoming traffic, then hit the front deck of a home, police said. The Jeep continued through the yard of the home, went off a retaining wall and landed in a neighboring yard, police said.
Louth was taken to Lancaster General Hospital with injuries police described as moderate and not life threatening, and his vehicle was towed, they said.
