A man hurt in a crash near the Norman Wood Bridge in Martic Township last week succumbed to his injuries, according to his obituary.
Wyatt T. Teaman, 20, of Quarryville, was "severely injured" in the Oct. 23 crash and airlifted to the hospital, state police said. The next day he was listed in critical condition at Lancaster General Hospital.
Teaman had graduated from Thaddeus Stevens College this year, and graduated from Solanco High School in 2016, according to his obituary.
He was employed by Rhi Magnesita in York. A celebration of life service is scheduled for Nov. 10 at Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren, 1392 Robert Fulton Highway.
The crash happened just before 11 a.m. between River Road and the Lancaster County side of the bridge.
Teaman was driving a Dodge Neon east on Holtwood Road/Route 372 when the vehicle went into the westbound lane, striking the left, rear wheel of a trailer behind a Ford F350, according to police.
Emergency dispatchers said one person was rescued from a vehicle.
The Dodge sustained heavy front end and driver side damage, according to police. The driver of the Ford was uninjured. The bridge was shut down for a time following the crash.
