Fresh produce, baked goods and more were on the menu Thursday evening as the Lititz Farmers Market reopened for the season in Lititz Springs Park. As vendors opened their stands to sell food and flowers, the band Dillweed entertained the shoppers and market organizer Venture Lititz provided a craft activity for kids. Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is helping sponsor the market this year as a way to support the health of the community through providing more fresh-food options. The market will be open from 4-8 p.m. Thursdays through mid-October (except June 30, during the set-up of the borough's annual Fourth of July celebration).
