Welcome back to “Legends of Lancaster,” an exclusive video series during which LancasterOnline goes in-depth into the lore and legends of Lancaster County. The mini-documentaries touch on everything from intriguing history, to colorful myths, to various tall tales that have been passed down through generations.

In this episode of "Legends of Lancaster," videographer Tyler Huber tells of the incredible life of Jack Fasig. This strongman, who was nearly 7 feet tall with 300 pounds of brawn and muscle would regularly perform eye-opening physical feats and would eventually become a folk hero to the people of Manheim.

Huber talked to biographer Cory Van Brookhoven to get the true details of his incredible life and to share tall tales gathered through the generations.
