ID sought in connection with May 30 homicide investigation

Lancaster city police investigating the May 30 shooting death of Tyreek Gardner want the public’s help in identifying a person captured on surveillance video.

Clips from two surveillance cameras show a male in the 200 block of North Plum Street, according to police.

Police found Gardner, 22, on the sidewalk in the 500 block of East Chestnut Street with multiple gunshot wounds around 10:30 p.m.

Police ask anyone with information regarding the homicide investigation, including the identity of the male in the surveillance video, to contact city police at 717-735-3301, or Detective Thomas Ginder at 717-735-3345 or gindert@lancasterpolice.com.
