Several standholders in Lancaster Central Market offered special menu items in honor of St. Patrick’s Day on Friday.
Zig’s Bakery served up chive and cheddar scones and shamrock-shaped sand tarts, while Ric’s Bread had Irish soda bread and green muffins.
The Goodie Shoppe offered lamb hand pies, colcannon and chocolate cake made with Bailey’s chocolate buttercream. For those who wanted to cook at home, Breakaway Farms had grassfed corned beef with a pickling spice packet ready to be prepared.
And The Candy Stand had Oh Ryan’s Irish Potatoes – coconut cream treats coated in cinnamon – and plenty of green gummy candies to choose from.
