One person was injured when a Solanco school bus and a taxi cab crashed in Fulton Township Thursday morning.

The man driving the taxi cab suffered minor injuries and was taken to Lancaster General Hospital, Robert Fulton Fire Chief Tracy Tomlinson said. He had no passengers.

The bus driver and her child were the only ones on the bus, according to Tomlinson and Solanco School District spokesman Keith Kaufman. Neither was injured.

The wreck happened shortly before 8:30 at Route 222 and Goshen Mill Road, according to Lancaster County-Wide Communications.

Tomlinson said it appeared the bus was traveling south on Route 222 and the taxi cab was pulling out onto Route 222 from Goshen Mill Road when they collided.

Both vehicles were towed, Kaufman said.

State police are investigating.
