Four people were hospitalized after a crash Monday night in Lancaster.
The wreck involving a sedan and minivan occurred around 8:20 p.m. at East Chestnut Street and North Marshall Street.
City fire Battalion Chief Ken Barton said the collision sent the minivan into a utility pole, trapping the 25-year-old female driver inside.
Barton said the woman suffered a severe leg injury and was taken by ambulance to Lancaster General Hospital. Two passengers in the minivan, a male and female, were also transported to a local hospital with less serious injuries.
The driver of the sedan, a 51-year-old New York man, was hospitalized after complaining of chest and arm pain.
Names of the persons involved were not available Monday night.
