One person was injured when a tractor-trailer rear-ended a vehicle Tuesday morning in Pequea Township.
The crash occurred on southbound Route 272 (Willow Street Pike) at Penn Grant Road.
The driver of the tractor-trailer failed to stop at a red light and struck a Chevrolet Cavalier, which then was pushed into a Mitsubishi sedan, Southern Regional police wrote in a Facebook post.
The driver of the Cavalier had to be freed from the wreckage by emergency personnel. She was taken to Lancaster General Hospital and was in stable condition there Tuesday evening, police said.
West Willow and Willow Street fire units responded to the crash.
