More than a dozen people were transported to area hospitals after a crash in eastern Lancaster County Wednesday.

Multiple medical units were dispatched to Newport and Stumptown roads in Upper Leacock Township after the 4 p.m. accident which involved a full-size van and a small tourist bus.

The Amish Farm and House bus was carrying 14 passengers, all of whom were taken to the hospital, according to Upper Leacock Township fire Chief Jared Nolt. He said most had minor injuries while two suffered more serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

Neither the bus or van driver was injured. There were no other occupants of the van.

The crash is being investigated by East Lampeter Township police.
