October brings us many joys: jack-o'-lanterns, trick-or-treat, pumpkin-spiced everything and a wealth of community parades to enjoy throughout the month.
Trick-or-treat night will take place in all Lancaster County municipalities from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.
The Lancaster Inter-Municipal Committee recommends trick-or-treat night be held on Oct. 31 except when that date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, in which case it's held on the prior Friday.
Below, you'll find a list of parades happening throughout the county.
Some are costumed Halloween parades, others just a way for communities to celebrate the season.
We'll update this list as information about other parades becomes available. Know of a parade we haven't included? Let us know in the comments section.
