Disability Empowerment Center is offering what it says is Central Pennsylvania's only fully accessible haunted house in Lancaster today.
Featuring a mad scientist room, bug room and graveyard, the haunted house is accessible for wheelchair users and will include effects for the visually impaired, hearing impaired and deaf. It will be held in the basement of Wheatland Place, 941 Wheatland Ave., Lancaster.
The free event will start with lights and sounds removed from noon to 2 p.m. for those with sensory issues. It will then continue with lights and sounds until 6 p.m.
The public is invited. Candy and snacks will be provided, and donations will be accepted.
