It's sweet corn season.

And just three miles south of Lancaster city is the Corn Wagon, a popular stand known for having lots of fresh, homegrown sweet corn.

LNP photographer Richard Hertzler spent a recent afternoon at the stand, located in the 2100 block of Millersville Road, where patrons lined up early in the morning awaiting the arrival of the wagon.

The Corn Wagon opens at 8 a.m. and is open Monday through Saturday, operating on a first come, first served basis.
