Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni ruled Monday's death on Route 30 at the New Holland Pike overpass a suicide.
Diamantoni said that Brian A. Kelly, of Lancaster, died of multiple traumatic injuries from the suicide.
Kelly was in his early 20s, Diamantoni said.
Manheim Township police said that Kelly fell onto the road and was hit by a vehicle shortly before 4:11 p.m. on Monday. No other injuries were reported.
The incident closed down westbound lanes of Route 30 for about two hours Monday evening.
