A 24-year-old Columbia man has been charged with raping a woman at Long's Park in August 2010.
A woman told Lancaster city police in February that she had met Todd Michael Lingafelt through a social media app at Park City Center in mid- to late-August and went with him to Long's Park.
There, she told police, Lingafelt, then 15, raped her, ignoring her when she repeatedly told him no, according to a criminal complaint.
She showed police scarring on her chest from where Lingafelt dug his fingernails into her, the complaint said.
The investigating officer wrote in the complaint that she spoke to multiple people who recalled the woman telling people what had happened shortly afterward. The woman's age wasn't given.
Lingafelt, of the 800 block of Barber Street, was charged Tuesday with forcible rape, two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, indecent assault and simple assault, according to court documents.
Lingafelt was being held at Lancaster County Prison unable to post $250,000 bail. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 10 before District Judge Mary Mongiovi Sponaugle.
