The Lancaster County Bird Club again will offer the Harold B. Morrin Scholarship to promote birding and nature study.
Deadline to apply for the scholarship for one youth (ages 12-18) and one adult is Dec. 1. A decision will be made by Dec. 15.

Suggested activities and projects are included on the website. Examples include participation in a nature camp sponsored by such groups as the Audubon Society, the American Birding Association and local organizations, as well as projects for scouts, college students, interns and teachers.
The scholarship is a maximum $400 per person.
Morrin, now deceased, was very active in the bird club and known locally and abroad as an avid birder and habitat conservationist.
