Clean out your jewelry box and help the Lancaster Public Library at the same time.
The Friends of the library are looking for donations for the 2nd Annual Baubles & Bling Sale (formerly the Friends Jewelry Sale) which will be held in November. Last year’s sale raised nearly $5,000 for the library.
“Donating your gently used jewelry, bags and scarves makes room for new bling and baubles, plus this sale is a fun way to support the library,” said JoAnn Dumas, co-chair of this year’s sale.
Donations of fine, vintage, costume and fashion jewelry, watches, scarves, handbags, purses and evening bags may be dropped off at:
- The Julianna Book Store in the Lancaster Public Library, 125 N. Duke St., Lancaster: Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Marshall Street Book Shop, 225 N. Marshall St., Lancaster: Monday and Wednesday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
The sale will be Thursday, Nov. 10, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lancaster Public Library, 125 N. Duke Street.
