Rotary Club of Lancaster South names Students of the Month

Solanco High School juniors Christina Cylc and Nathan Eller were named January Students of the Month by Rotary Club of Lancaster South. Both were honored for academic excellence and community service.

Christina is a leader of the Ophelia Club and Link Crew. She has won a Solanco School District citizenship award and was recognized for perfect attendance while in middle school.

She is a member of the principal’s Breakfast Club and a Solanco elementary school volunteer. She enjoys dancing and watching sports.

Nathan has been a consistent honor roll performer; in 10th grade, he received the 4.0 grade-point average honor roll excellence award. He is a member of the National and Spanish honor societies, and was named to the National Junior Honor Society. He is a member of Link Crew and the cross country team.

Nathan has received district Student of the Month awards three times, and was named Student of the Year while in middle school. He received an academic excellence award from the Solanco school board as a sophomore, and received the 5th Runner award in cross country this school year. He volunteers at the Quarryville Food Bank and Quarryville Library.
