Even if you’re not a huge sports fan, you can still cheer for the dogs in the Puppy Bowl XV Saturday. This year’s game will be followed by a dog bowl.

Pre-game coverage for the Animal Planet show starts at 2 p.m. and the game is 3 to 5 p.m., before the Super Bowl. On the field will be 93 dogs, including one from Pennsylvania in the starting lineup. The dog bowl follows at 8 p.m. All of the dogs are from animal shelters around the country (plus Costa Rica) and are up for adoption.

Here are the Pennsylvania dogs in the starting lineup plus back-up pups and one dog in the Dog Bowl:

Puppies are the star of the show and there will be a menagerie of animals to cheer them on or to make a call.

Shirley the rescue sloth will be the “rufferee assistant.” She’ll have a fan club of baby sloths from Costa Rica’s Roucan Rescue Ranch.

Team Fluff’s mascot is a capybara.

Team Ruff’s mascots are three baby porcupines.

Baby kangaroos will cheer on both teams.

And three special needs players will join the game: Pippi, a blind Jack Russel mix; Bumble, a blind and hearing-impaired Australian shepherd mix and Will, a three-legged doodle mix

The kitten halftime show will have a pop-up cake, Adam Feline of Purrr-oon 5, a performance by the Atlanta Acro-Cats, a domino display finale and lots of kittens.

Afterwards, The Dog Bowl will send 63 adoptable adult and senior dogs to the field.
