It's just about time for the 2019 Pennsylvania Farm Show, held annually in January at the Farm Show Complex & Expo Center on Cameron Street in Harrisburg. 

The 103rd farm show opens on Saturday, Jan. 5, at  8 a.m. and runs through Saturday, Jan 12. The annual show has more than 6,000 animals, hundreds of vendors, exhibitors, contests and demonstrations. 

Here are the daily hours: 

  • Sat., January 5: 8 am. to 9 p.m. 
  • Sun., January 6: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
  • Mon., January 7: 8 am. to 9 p.m.
  • Tues., January 8: 8 am. to 9 p.m.
  • Wed., January 9: 8 am. to 9 p.m. 
  • Th., January 10: 8 am. to 9 p.m.
  • Fri., January 11: 8 am. to 9 p.m.
  • Sat., January 12: 8 am. to 5 p.m.

The butter sculpture will be revealed on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. 

The food court will open a day early, though. The food court opens from noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, and parking is free on Friday. That is the only day parking will be free; for the rest of the show, parking is $15 in each of the lots. Shuttles are available from the lots to the complex.
