Tickets are on sale for a fall chocolate event in Lititz, while tickets for a craft beer fest in the borough sold out within 20 minutes on Friday.
Tickets for the Saturday, Oct. 7, Lititz Chocolate Walk went on sale Saturday. The two-mile walking and sampling event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. around the Lititz business district.
Those attending can sample more than 30 chocolate treats prepared by area chefs and chocolatiers.
Proceeds benefit children’s charities. The event is organized by the Kiwanis Club of Lititz Area.
Tickets can be bought online for $37.50 apiece (including a processing fee) by clicking here, or for $35, in cash, at a variety of businesses and facilities: Wilbur Chocolate, Think Silk, McElroy Pharmacy, Lititz Public Library, Lititz Framing & Fine Arts, Danner’s Deli, Cherry Acres and Aaron’s Books, Lititz; Schreiber Pediatric Center and the Manheim Township Public Library, Lancaster; Blue Ridge Communications, Ephrata; and Anstine’s Candies, York, and Anstine’s Sweet Shop, Red Lion.
• Tickets to the Sunday, Sept. 24, Lititz Craft Beer Fest, presented by the Lititz AMBUCS in partnership with the Warwick Community Ambulance Association, sold out within 90 minutes after going on sale Friday.
The event takes place from 2 to 5 p.m. on Main Street in Lititz. So far, 26 regional breweries have signed on to pour samples for the Beer Fest.
The Lititz Homebrew competition will also return to the Beer Fest this year.
