OLD-FASHIONED HYMN SING
Heritage Baptist Church of Manheim will host an old-fashioned Hymn Sing at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Manheim Community Farm Show Exhibition Center, 502 E. Adele Ave.
Every fifth Sunday of the month, the evening church service is a ministry of music. The hymn sing includes a hymn history and a biblical music lesson. Special music will be provided by members of the church. Fellowship will follow the sing. Those with a love for old-time hymns are invited to share in the singing of time-honored music that glorifies the Lord.

KEVIN BRUCHERT TO PERFORM
East Petersburg Mennonite Church, 6279 Main Street in East Petersburg, will host an evening of worship with musician Kevin Bruchert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31.
Bruchert previously operated a record company and was a touring musician. More recently, he has been known as a producer and co-songwriter.
He previously appeared at the church as part of The Reckless Love Tour in August 2014. He is the worship pastor at Live Oak Christian Church in Bluffton, South Carolina, and is affiliated with Anchor Mission USA.
During this special evening worship gathering, Jeff McLain will also be ordained for ministry at East Petersburg Mennonite Church.

BINGMAN AT EMMAUS ROAD CAFE
Singer-songwriter Hannah Bingman will perform at the Emmaus Road Cafe, 1886 Lincoln Highway East Lancaster, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13,
For 14 years, Bingman has been writing and performing her folk/blues compositions at various East Coast venues. She has released three studio albums as well as a live album.
Her most recent album, “Loam,” is fixed in rural agricultural themes and small town roots. Most known for her solo performances, Bingman also plays as part of a blues duo with regional musician Doug McMinn, and performs with a backing band made up of musicians from central Pennsylvania. In 2006, she won the Susquehanna Folk Music Society Songwriting Contest and in 2011 was selected as a Regional Round Finalist in the Mountain Stage New Song Contest.

The Center for Community Peacemaking will present “Around the Table with Dr. Howard Zehr” at this year’s annual dinner April 28 at Shady Maple Banquet Center, 129 Toddy Drive, East Earl.

RADIO MINISTRY BUILDING STUDIO
The Tide (www.thetide.org) global radio ministry, which began in Chambersburg 70 years ago, has begun construction of a new studio in Zimbabwe. The studio, expected to be completed this year, will provide a production venue for additional Christian programming.
Additionally, it will enable The Tide’s partner ministry in Zimbabwe to provide recording and production services, ultimately helping it to become a self-supporting local ministry.
