A Lancaster musician will celebrate the completion of a two-year project Friday night.

The Tuck Ryan Band will perform a release show for "Warmest Blue" at the Pressroom Friday night. There is no cover, and the music begins at 9 p.m.

Ryan performs in several other local bands, including Second Hand Suits and the Dabby Paddy All-Stars.

The Tuck Ryan Band filled the Ware Center's Owen Salon during Lancaster Roots & Blues in February.

Prior to the Roots & Blues performance, Ryan spoke to LNP about how the album documents a period of personal growth in his life.

“I think that I’ve really grown, and I think that people can expect a more complex and hopefully more soulful version of who I think I am on this record,” Ryan told LNP.

Oliver Craven and Charlie Muench of the Stray Birds and Steely Jam's Andy Mowatt are featured on the album, which was recorded at the SugarTank recording studio on Queen Street.
