Cocalico High School

  • Show: "Godspell"
  • Performances: March 16 and 17 at 7 p.m.; March 18 at 2 p.m.

  • Synopsis: A group of people come together to form a community through lessons, parables and songs.

Columbia High School

  • Show: Some Enchanted Evening (show name cannot be revealed in print)
  • Performances: March 22 and 23 at 7 p.m.; March 24 at 2 and 7 p.m.
  • Tickets: $4 students and senior citizens (free for under age 5); $5 adults

  • Note: A special "Dine with the Princesses" will be held today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hinkle's Restaurant, featuring a sneak-peek of the show, with 20 percent of each restaurant bill going to support the Columbia Theatre Boosters.

Conestoga Valley High School

  • Show: "Mary Poppins"
  • Performances: March 23 and 24 at 7 p.m.; March 25 at 2 p.m.

  • Synopsis: A spell turns a prince into a beast who must learn to love if he wants to break the spell.

  • Show: "Curtains: The Musical Comedy Whodunnit"

  • Synopsis: This parody of 1950s "whodunnit" theater mysteries investigates murder behind the scenes of a fictional cowboy musical, "Robbin’ Hood."

Hempfield High School

  • Show: "The Phantom of the Opera"
  • Performances: March 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m.; March 11 at 2:30 p.m.; senior citizen preview March 8 at 7 p.m. (dress rehearsal free to all residents of Hempfield school district, ages 65 and older, with senior citizen cookie break at intermission hosted by Mennonite Home Communities)
  • Tickets: $10 students and seniors ages 65 and older; $12 adults

  • Synopsis: Suspense and passion combine in the story of a legendary opera ghost, a musical genius who dwells in a labyrinth beneath a Paris opera house. Rated PG-13, which may not be appropriate for younger audience members.

Lampeter-Strasburg High School

  • Show: "West Side Story"
  • Performances: March 8, 9 and 10 at 7 p.m.; March 10 at 2 p.m.
  • Tickets: $8 students and seniors; $10 adults
  • To purchase tickets: Tickets will be available at the high school office on school days from noon-4 p.m. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour prior to each performance.
  • Synopsis: This modern retelling of "Romeo and Juliet" is set among rival gangs in 1950s New York City.

LancasterCatholic High School

  • Show: "Crazy for You"
  • Performances: April 26-28 at 7:30 pm. April 29 at 2 pm.
  • Tickets: $17 for reserved, $15 for adults, $7 for students

  • Synopsis: A romantic comedy billed as "The New Gershwin Musical Comedy", it is largely based on the songwriting team’s 1930 musical, Girl Crazy, but incorporates songs from several other productions as well.

Lancaster Country Day School

  • Show: "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"
  • Performances: Feb. 22, 23 and 24 at 7 p.m.; Feb. 24 at 2 p.m.

  • Synopsis: Middle schoolers compete against each other—and their inner demons—in this musical comedy.

Lancaster County Christian School

  • Show: "Papa was a Preacher"

  • Synopsis: This comedy showcases a Texas pastor and his family and their antics and challenges of raising children in the home of a preacher.

Lancaster Mennonite School

  • Show: "The Wizard of Oz"
  • Performances: Feb. 22, 23 and 24 at 7 p.m.; Feb 24 at 2 p.m.
  • Tickets: $10 students, $12 adults for evening shows; $9 students, $11 adults for matinee; $10 senior citizen tickets (ages 65 and older) for Thursday evening performance only

Linden Hall School

  • Show: "Peter and the Starcatcher"
