Northwest Regional Police Department

Northwest Regional Police Department hired Seth Arnold, left, as a new police officer, and recognized Bryan Ressler upon his retirement as a longtime police officer.

Northwest Lancaster County Regional Police Department hired Seth Arnold as a police officer Jan. 27 and also announced the retirement of officer Bryan Ressler.

• Arnold previously worked as a police officer at the Harrisburg International Airport. He has a degree from Bloomsburg University and completed his municipal police officer training in 2013.

• Ressler started his law enforcement career in Marietta Borough in 1987. Mount Joy Township hired him three years later. In 2003, Mount Joy Township Police Department and West Donegal Township Police Department became the Northwest Regional Police Department.

During Ressler's career he worked a Police K-9 Officer, the Lancaster County Drug Task Force and was a member of the Northwest Accident Crash Team.
