Element by Bodega will make its debut in downtown Ephrata, where it occupies the lobby of the Brossman building.

The coffee shop at 124 E. Main St. has seating for around 20 and features coffee, matcha and tea as well as sweet and savory pastries.

Element by Bodega is owned by Tamarah Gonzalez Sylvain and Kems Sylvain, who also own Bodega Coffee Roasters, a commercial roastery in Denver that supplies restaurants and businesses and also sells coffee online.

Gonzalez Sylvain, who manages the shop, is originally from Chile and has experience working in coffee shops there and in the United States.

The opening of Element by Bodega continues the redevelopment of the Brossman building under new owners who recently created a hotel and events space there, Executive Suites and Events. The six-story building was originally the headquarters of D & E Telephone Co.
