A new farm-to-table restaurant is slated to open this fall in Elizabethtown.

Construction is beginning this month on Whisk Cafe, which is taking a 2,700-square-foot space in Sycamore Square Marketplace, 98 Masonic Drive. The restaurant is at the edge of the Masonic Villages campus, near the Elizabethtown Amtrak station.

Owner Amy Kreamer is a co-owner of Lucky Ducks Bar and Grille locations in Elizabethtown and Hershey.

For her solo restaurant, Kreamer plans to create a farm-to-table restaurant that will be open for breakfast and lunch.

Breakfast items will include eggs Benedict as well as French toast with apples, peaches or strawberries. Lunch will feature salads and sandwiches as well as a quiche of the day made with fresh fruit.

The restaurant, which is taking space in what was once a garage, will have seating at tables and a window counter as well as a lounge area and an outside patio.

Kreamer plans to operate the restaurant with nine employees.
