The Sheetz along Route 501 north of Lititz reopened today after a two-month expansion project.
The 4,200-square-foot store at 701 Furnace Hills Pike was torn down, then replaced with a 6,700-square-foot store featuring the look of other new Sheetz sites, a spokesman said.
The store, which has inside and outside seating, will begin beer sales once the state Liquor Control Board gives its final approval. It has 10 fueling stations.
A spokesman decline to provide the cost of the project.
The original Sheetz, at the intersection with Newport Road, opened in 1997, a year after the first Lancaster County Sheetz opened in New Holland.
