When people move to a new home in PPL Electric Utilities territory, they not only can set up their electric service through PPL.
Now they have the option of relocating their cable or satellite television, land-line telephone, internet and/or home security service to their new address through PPL too, at no charge.
The new service is part of PPL’s effort “to provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction,” said the company in a recent announcement unveiling the service.
Residential customers in PPL’s entire 29-county territory, including Lancaster County, are eligible.
PPL has retained Atlanta-based Allconnect Inc. to provide the service to its customers.
On average, more than 200,000 PPL residential customers set up new electric service or transfer their existing service each year.
