Miss Calee’s Eats N Treats has opened in Landisville, taking a spot at 329 Main St. that had recently been the home of Molly’s on Main coffee shop.

The new restaurant, owned by Michelle Benedict and her daughter Abby, serves breakfast and lunch and also features baked goods such as cupcakes, cakes, bread, muffins and whoopie pies.

The breakfast menu has eggs, omelets, burritos, egg sandwiches and baked oatmeal while lunch includes sandwiches and soups as well as ice cream from Jim Mack’s, which has a location east of York.

Michelle has worked in the restaurant business for about 20 years, but this is the first time she has been an owner. For Miss Calee’s Eats N Treats, she teamed up with her daughter who is a baker. They have three employees.

The Benedicts plan to soon extend the restaurant’s hours into the early evening, with pot pie, meat loaf, and chicken & waffles, among other things, to be offered for dinner.

Miss Calee’s Eats N Treats has seating for about 60 at a counter and tables. There are also three tables outside.

Before opening, the Benedicts oversaw some reonvations to the restaurant space, including adding some new equipment. They plan to eventually expand the deck out back.
