Several items and prices included: a Taylor double-sided sign, $450; a blue splatter teapot, $425; a pinwheel quilt, $525; a Wards Bread thermometer, $320; a cast-iron Coke base, $320; a cherry Dutch cupboard, $450; a cherry corner cupboard, $400; an electric lift chair, $370; and oval braided room rugs, $350 and $280.

Horst Auctioneers, of Ephrata, conducted a public sale of real estate May 23 for the Clarke Hess estate at 27 Lititz Run Road, Lititz. A historic 18th-century, two-story, log dwelling, a frame tenant house and other outbuildings on 4 acres sold for $542,000 to Stephanie Painter, of Westfield.

Kline, Kreider & Good Auctioneers, of Bowmansville, conducted a public sale of real estate May 29 for the Martha M. Lantz estate at 231 Swamp Road, Morgantown. A 1 1/2-story, four-bedroom dwelling and masonry shop/garage on 8.5 wooded acres sold for $220,000 to Eli King, of Morgantown.

Kline, Kreider & Good Auctioneers, of Bowmansville, conducted a public sale of real estate June 1 for Ruth E. Keeney at 41 Teen Challenge Road, Womelsdorf. A 106.5-acre farm with pond sold for $810,000 to Harold and Rose Shirk, of Rehrersburg.

Witman Auctioneers Inc., of Manheim, conducted a public auction of real estate for the Dennis L. Weiser estate at 64 Suffolk Road, Harrisburg. Personal property also was sold. A three-bedroom ranch house was sold for $136,000 to Joshua Kingston, of Harrisburg. A 2 1/2-story, four-bedroom dwelling with two-car garage on 20 acres including horse barns, an equipment building and dog kennel, sold for $1,075,000 to Matthew and Lucy Leid, of New Holland.

Martin & Rutt Auctioneers, of New Holland, conducted a public sale of real estate June 8 for John B. and Mary Ann Martin at 180A Sandy Hill Road, Denver. A two-story dwelling and detached four-bay garage on 7.1 acres sold for $485,000 to Omar and Becky Fisher, of Lancaster. In addition, a 1-acre wooded tract sold for $14,000 to Luke Ulrich, of Denver.

A 2 1/2-story, brick, four-bedroom dwelling with three-car garage and bank barn with attached garage on 1.28 acres sold for $305,000 to Galen and Ashley Zimmerman, of Lititz.
